Other Features in this Issue
People, Places & Plants magazine is an independent voice, produced and owned locally. Our New England and New York edition is published six times a year. Advice is derived from hands-in-the-soil experiences of our founding editors, Paul Tukey and Dr. Richard Churchill, along with many other local gardeners, horticulturists, educators and industry professionals. We utilize the best gardening photographers, but more than creating a pretty magazine, we strive to make the pages honest -- providing a true reflection of the region.
We believe in protecting the earth with environmentally friendly, organic practices. If we can show it, you can grow it, meaning we write about the plants that have the best chance for survival in your region. And we believe in patronizing our locally owned garden centers, where you are likely to receive the best service and advice when you shop for plants and supplies.
More than just a magazine, People, Places & Plants is a community. It's a place where you can feel the kindred spirit of all of us who try to coax trees, shrubs, vegetables and flowers out of the soil.
Tell us what you think! Send us your feedback.
