Our Mission

People, Places & Plants is an independently owned media company, existing to promote horticulture through a celebration of environmentally friendly techniques with a focus on the local gardeners, independent businesses, and public spaces of a particular region.

Our New England and New York edition is published six times a year. Advice is derived from hands-in-the-soil experiences of our founding editors, Paul Tukey and Dr. Richard Churchill, along with many other local gardeners, horticulturists, educators and industry professionals. We utilize the best gardening photographers, but more than creating a pretty magazine, we strive to make the pages honest -- providing a true reflection of the region. Find out more...
